In the "Relay Interview" series, Money Forward members answer questions and pass the relay baton along to the next person.

This time, the baton has been passed to Alice (Nguyen Doan Ngoc Ha), who works at Klavis, from Ryohei Suzuki (Su) in vol. 8.

I went to Vietnam from Japan, but she came to Japan from Vietnam and is doing well, so I would love to hear about her activities.

What kind of work do you do?

I'm working as an APdM at Klavis.

Our team has both Japanese and Vietnamese development teams, and I'm in charge of the Vietnamese development team. I moved to Japan just 1 year ago. Previously, I was an Accelerator at Money Forward Vietnam (MFV). This position is my new challenge here.

Mainly, I work with the PdM of the team to decide which functions that the MFV team will develop. After receiving the draft requirements, I create specifications and communicate with the designer to get the design for the team.

I also follow most stages of the development team, to make sure that they can deliver the highest quality product to our users.

In short, my position is a "bridge" between the MFV development team and users/stakeholders in Japan.

What do you find most important in your work?

Good teamwork!

One person alone can't complete an entire product from A to Z. Each person needs to contribute their abilities and cooperate with other people to achieve the team's goal, which is to deliver excellent products to our users.

And I do think that teamwork can help us support each other in becoming better.

After coming to Japan, I also faced many difficulties at work and felt demotivated , but both my superiors in Japan and team members in Vietnam supported me so well. Thanks to them, our product is growing day by day!

What has made you happiest recently in your work?

My team and product growth!

When we started the project with MFV more than a year ago, it was only me on the MFV side, without a clear vision of what I could contribute to the product.

After one year, both the team in Japan and the MFV team grew so much. Now we have a big team with around 20 people, and 13 of them are from MFV.

We could also deliver many functions to our users, which is so much more than I expected one year ago! I hope users find those functions helpful.

He was my superior when we were in MFV, and I always have respect for him. He has been back in Japan for two years. I'm pretty sure that not only me but many MFV members want to know how he is doing.

マネーフォワードのメンバーが質問に答えて、バトンをつないでゆく「Relay Interview」。

僕は日本からベトナムに来ていますが、Aliceはベトナムから日本に渡って頑張っているみたいなので、ぜひ活躍を訊いてみたいです。

Aliceさんのお仕事は？

私は、アシスタントPdMとしてクラビスで働いています。
私たちのチームには日本人とベトナム人がいますが、私はベトナム人の開発チームに所属しています。

ちょうど1年前に日本に引っ越してきました。日本に来る前は、Money Forward Vietnamでアクセラレーターをやっていました。アシスタントPdMのポジションは、私の新しい挑戦です。

役割としては主に、PdMと一緒に、MFVのチームが開発する機能を決めています。開発要件のドラフトを受け取ったあと、仕様を作成し、デザイナーと連携します。
開発チームがユーザーに高い品質のプロダクトを届けられるよう、常に開発チームをフォローすることも私の役割です。

私は、MFVの開発チームとユーザー、そして日本のステークホルダーをつなぐ「橋渡し役」ですね。

仕事で一番大切にしていることは？

良いチームワークです！

ひとりの人間が、1つの製品を最初から最後まで完成させることはできません。それぞれが自分の能力を発揮し、他のメンバーと協力して、チームの目標である「ユーザーに優れたプロダクトを届ける」ことを達成する必要があるからです。
そして、チームワークというのは、私たちが成長するために、お互いに支え合うということでもあると思います。

日本に来てから、仕事でいろいろな困難に直面し、すこし落ち込むこともありましたが、日本の上司もベトナムのチームメンバーも、私をいつも支えてくれました。彼らのおかげで、私たちのプロダクトは日に日に成長しています！

最近仕事で一番嬉しかったことは？

私のチームとプロダクトの成長ですね。

1年以上前にMFVとプロジェクトを開始した時は、MFV側には私しかおらず、私がプロダクトに貢献できる明確なビジョンがないままでした。でも、1年後、日本のチームだけでなく、MFVのチームも大きく成長したんです。

今では大きなチームとなり、そのほとんどがMFVのメンバーです。
また、1年前の予想をはるかに超える多くの機能をユーザーのみなさまに提供することができました！
